Your card for today

Take a breath, think about the day ahead, and reveal your card. It stays the same all day; a new card is ready tomorrow.

A daily tarot card is a small ritual that takes less than a minute: one card, drawn each morning, as a theme to carry through the day. It will not tell you exactly what is going to happen, but it gives you something to notice, a question to ask yourself, and a reason to pause.

How your daily card works

When you reveal your card, one card is drawn at random from a complete 78-card tarot deck, upright or reversed. It is saved in your browser for the rest of the day, so if you come back later you will see the same card and message. Tomorrow a new card is waiting. Nothing is sent to us and you do not need an account.

How to use your card of the day

  1. Draw it early. Morning is ideal, before the day fills up with other people's priorities.
  2. Read the keywords, then the message. The keywords give you the theme; the message suggests how it might show up.
  3. Pick one thing to watch for. If you draw the Two of Cups, notice moments of connection. If you draw the Four of Swords, notice when you need a break.
  4. Check in at night. Ask yourself where the card showed up. Over a few weeks, patterns become clear.

Three journaling prompts for any card

  • Where in my life do I already feel this card's energy?
  • What is one small action this card is inviting me to take today?
  • If this card were advice from a wise friend, what would they be telling me?

Upright and reversed daily cards

An upright card shows its energy flowing openly. A reversed card does not mean something bad is coming; it usually points to the same theme turned inward, blocked or out of balance. A reversed Sun, for example, can mean your joy is there but clouded, and the message is to reconnect with something simple that makes you happy.

Major Arcana vs Minor Arcana days

If you draw one of the 22 Major Arcana, such as The Star or Judgement, think of it as a bigger theme: a lesson or turning point that may stretch beyond today. The 56 Minor Arcana speak about everyday matters. Cups relate to feelings and relationships, Wands to energy and ambition, Swords to thoughts and communication, and Pentacles to work, money and practical life.

Frequently asked questions

Is the tarot card of the day free?

Yes. It is free, needs no signup and gives you a new card every day.

Why do I get the same card if I come back later?

Your card is saved in your browser for the whole day, because a daily card is meant to be a theme for the day, not something to redraw until you like it. A new card is ready tomorrow.

Is a reversed card of the day bad?

No. A reversed card usually points to the same theme turned inward, delayed or out of balance. Its message suggests what to adjust.

What is the best time to draw a daily tarot card?

Most people draw it in the morning, so they can carry the card's theme through the day and reflect on it in the evening.

Can a daily card predict my day?

It cannot predict specific events. It works best as a focus for reflection: something to notice, a question to ask yourself, or a gentle reminder.
