Queen of Cups symbolism

A queen sits on a throne at the edge of the sea, gazing at an ornate, closed cup decorated with angels. Her throne is carved with sea nymphs and a shell, and small pebbles and water surround her feet. The closed cup suggests that her deepest feelings are held with care, not spilled.
