For reflection and entertainment. Tarot and AI readings don't predict the future and aren't financial, medical, legal or psychological advice. Use them as a prompt to think, not as a decision.
Ask your question
Write one question about love, work, family or a decision. A card is drawn for you and Mystica, our AI reader, answers it.
3 free questions a day, no signup. Answers are written by an AI from a card drawn at random. For reflection and entertainment, not medical, legal or financial advice.
Sometimes you do not need a long session, just an honest answer to the one question that keeps going around your head. Type it below, and you will get a direct answer based on a tarot card drawn at random, plus what you can do next. It is free and you do not need to sign up.
What happens when you ask one free psychic question?
Type one specific question and receive an AI-assisted card interpretation. You do not need to register. This is a single-question experience, not a live human psychic service.
For a back-and-forth conversation use free psychic chat. For a three-card spread use free psychic reading online.
One free psychic question or a full chat?
Choose this tool if you have one clearly worded question and want a focused, AI-assisted reflection. If you need to explain the situation, clarify the response or ask follow-ups, the free psychic chat is a better fit. For a card-based overview rather than a single question, try the free three-card psychic reading.
Useful questions focus on choices within your control: “What should I consider before contacting my ex?” or “What information am I missing about a job change?” Avoid treating a reading as proof of what another person thinks, or as a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice.

How the free psychic question works
- You write your question. One situation, in your own words, up to 500 characters.
- A card is drawn. Our server draws one card at random from the full 78-card tarot deck, upright or reversed.
- You get an answer. Mystica, our AI reading companion, starts with a one-sentence answer to your question as the card suggests it, then explains what the card shows and what you can do.
You can ask up to 3 free questions a day. Mystica is an AI, not a human psychic, and speaks in tendencies and possibilities rather than guarantees.
The best questions to ask a psychic
Open questions about you and your choices get the most useful answers. Questions about what another person secretly thinks, or about events you cannot influence, tend to give vaguer results.
Love
- What do I need to know before I reach out to them again?
- Why do I keep attracting the same kind of relationship?
- Is it a good time to talk about our future together?
Work and money
- Should I push for the promotion now or wait?
- What is holding me back from changing careers?
- How can I feel less anxious about money this month?
Family, friends and decisions
- How can I repair things with my sister after our argument?
- Is this move the right step for me?
- What am I not seeing about this situation?
Add one line of context
"We broke up two months ago and he texted me last week. Should I answer?" gets a far more personal response than "Should I text him?"
Question, reading, chat or yes or no?
| Tool | Best for | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Yes or no tarot | A quick leaning on a simple question | Unlimited |
| Free psychic question | One direct answer with an explanation | 3 a day |
| Free psychic reading | Three cards: past, present and advice | 5 a day |
| Free psychic chat | Talking a situation through with follow-up questions | 6 messages per chat, 3 chats a day |
When to ask a live psychic instead
An AI answer is instant and free, but some people want a human connection, especially after a breakup, during a family conflict or when grieving. Live readers on platforms such as Oranum offer video and chat sessions, and you can watch readers for free before choosing one.
Before paying any psychic
- Check the per-minute price and set a budget before the session starts.
- Walk away if a reader says you are cursed or asks for money to remove negative energy.
- Be wary of guaranteed predictions about health, pregnancy, death or court cases.
- Never share bank details, passwords or your full address.

Frequently asked questions
Can I really ask a psychic a question for free?
Yes. You can ask up to 3 questions a day for free, with no signup and no credit card. The answer is written by an AI reader based on a tarot card drawn at random.
Is the answer from a real psychic?
No. Mystica is an AI reading companion. It interprets the card drawn for you in the context of your question. If you want a human reader, the page explains what to look for.
What kind of questions can I ask?
Questions about love, relationships, work, family and personal decisions work best. Mystica will not make predictions about health, death, pregnancy or legal outcomes.
Why is there a daily limit?
Each answer is generated by an AI, which has a real cost. The limit keeps the tool free for everyone. The yes or no tarot has no limit.
Is my question private?
We do not ask for your name or email. Questions are used only to generate your answer, and usage counters are deleted after 48 hours. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal details.
Can I ask a free psychic question by text?
Yes. Type your question in the box above and the answer appears on screen in a few seconds. You do not need to send an SMS, give a phone number or create an account, and you can ask up to 3 questions a day.
Can I ask a free psychic question by phone?
Our free question works online only, so there is no phone line and no per-minute charge. Phone psychic services almost always bill by the minute after a short introductory offer; if you use one, check the price per minute and set a time limit before you call. Our psychic reading cost calculator shows what a call really costs.
Can I get a free psychic reading by email?
You do not need to give us an email address. Your answer is shown immediately on this page, and if you want to keep it you can copy it or take a screenshot. For a longer conversation about the same question, continue in the free psychic chat.
Is my free psychic question answered immediately?
Yes. The card is drawn and the answer is written in a few seconds, on this page. You do not wait for a reader to come online and you do not receive it later by email.
What is the best one question to ask a psychic?
An open question about something you can act on works best, for example "What do I need to know before I decide about this job?" Questions that ask what another person thinks, or for a date, give the card much less to work with.
How this reading works
Your cards are drawn at random by code from the full 78-card deck, never chosen by the AI. The AI then writes an interpretation of those cards for your question, following the traditional meanings described in our tarot encyclopedia. Tap any card name in your result to read its full meaning.
Readings are for reflection. For health, legal, financial or mental-health decisions, please speak to a qualified professional.
- All 78 tarot card meanings: upright, reversed, love, career and yes or no for every card.
- How our readings work: how cards are drawn at random, where AI is used and the limits of divination.
- Tarot spreads: how positions such as past, present and advice change a card's meaning.
