How much does a psychic reading cost?

There is no single price. Cost depends on how the reading is sold, the reader's experience and popularity, and the length of the session. The three most common structures are:

• Per-minute readings on platforms. Chat, phone or video sessions on large sites where you pay only for the minutes you use. Prices are set by each reader, so they vary widely even on the same platform.
• Flat-fee sessions with independent readers. Many readers who run their own business charge a fixed price for a set length of time, such as a 30 or 60 minute session. This makes the cost predictable, and you know the total before you book.

How the calculator works

The calculator uses straightforward math, so you can check it yourself:

• Cost per session = price per minute x minutes per session
• Cost per month = cost per session x sessions per month
• Cost per year = cost per month x 12
• Minutes your budget buys = budget / price per minute

For example, a reader at $3.99 per minute for a 15 minute session costs $59.85 per session. Two sessions a month comes to $119.70, or $1,436.40 over a year. At $0.99 per minute, the same habit would cost $356.40 a year. At $9.99 per minute, it would be $3,596.40. Small differences in the per-minute price make a large difference over time.

The same math helps you compare offers fairly. A flat-fee session of $60 for 30 minutes works out to $2 per minute, so it is cheaper than a $3.99 per-minute reader for the same length, but more expensive than a $0.99 reader. Session length matters as much as the rate: cutting a 20 minute habit to 10 minutes halves your yearly total without changing readers. Running two or three scenarios through the calculator before you choose a reader is often the quickest way to find a pattern you can sustain comfortably for months, rather than one that looks affordable per minute but grows into a large annual expense.

• Free credits after card validation, where you receive a small credit balance once you add and verify a payment method, even if you are not charged at that point.

These offers can be a reasonable way to try a service, but read the terms carefully. Offers may apply only to certain readers, expire after a set time, require a minimum purchase, or switch to the full rate automatically when the free minutes end. How to set a budget and avoid overspending

Per-minute pricing is designed to be easy to continue. A few habits help you stay in control:

1. Set a monthly cap before you start. Use the calculator to decide what you are comfortable spending and how many minutes that buys. Treat the cap as fixed.
2. Use a timer. Set an alarm on your phone for the minutes you planned. It is easy to lose track of time in an emotional conversation.
3. Prepare your questions. Write down two or three specific questions in advance. Vague openings eat minutes.
4. Avoid auto top-ups. If a platform offers automatic recharging of credits, consider turning it off so every purchase is a deliberate choice.
5. Give yourself time between readings. Asking the same question again after a few days rarely brings new information.
