How to remember 78 tarot cards faster
- Learn the four suits as four areas of life. Wands are action and ambition (fire), Cups are feelings and relationships (water), Swords are thoughts and conflict (air) and Pentacles are money, work and the body (earth).
- Learn the numbers once. Aces are beginnings, Twos are choices or partnerships, Threes are growth, Fours are stability, Fives are challenge, Sixes are harmony, Sevens are tests, Eights are movement, Nines are near-completion and Tens are completion. Combine number and suit and you can work out most Minor Arcana cards.
- Treat the court cards as people or attitudes. Pages learn, Knights act, Queens master a suit from the inside and Kings lead it in the outside world.
- Read the Major Arcana as one story. The Fool sets off on a journey and meets each card in turn until The World. Remembering the order makes each meaning easier to recall.
- Use one card a day. Draw your tarot card of the day and connect it to something that actually happens. Real situations stick in memory better than definitions.
- Keep a short journal. Write the card, your interpretation and what happened later. Your tarot deck page already saves your readings for you.

Frequently asked questions
Can you really learn tarot in 30 days?
In 30 days you can learn the core meaning of all 78 cards and read a simple one- or three-card spread on your own. Reading with confidence takes longer: it comes from practice, from comparing readings with what actually happens and from your own notes.
Do I need a physical tarot deck?
No. Every lesson shows the Rider–Waite–Smith image of each card with its upright and reversed keywords. If you own a deck, take the same cards out while you study: handling them helps you remember.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing is lost. Your next lesson waits for you and your completed days stay saved. Only the streak counter starts again.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is completely free and there is no signup. Your progress is saved in this browser only, so clearing your browser data or switching devices starts the course again.
Do I have to learn reversed cards?
Not at first. The keywords for reversed cards are shown in every lesson, and day 29 is dedicated to them. Many readers start upright-only and add reversals later.
What should I do after day 30?
Keep practising with one card a day, then move on to three-card spreads. Write down each reading and check it a week later: our readings ask you whether they came true, so you can see your own record.
