Free psychic chat rooms still exist, but in four forms: an AI chat room like the one above (free, no card, not a human), free live video rooms where you watch a psychic and read the public chat, community rooms such as Reddit where readers post free or donation readings, and live psychic sites whose "free" chat is a few minutes after you add billing details. Use the finder below to see which one fits you.

Types of free psychic chat rooms compared
Every free psychic chat room falls into one of these four types. What changes is who answers, what is free and when you are asked for a card.
| Type of room | Who answers | What is free | Card needed? | Main risk |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AI chat room (this page) | Mystica, an AI reading companion | 6 messages per chat, 3 chats a day | No, and no email | It is software, not a psychic: use it for reflection |
| Free live video rooms (Oranum) | Real psychics on live video | Watching rooms and reading the public chat, without an account | Only for the new-member free credits and private sessions | Private minutes are paid per minute at the reader's rate |
| Community rooms (Reddit, Discord) | Volunteer and practising readers | Some free readings; on r/TarotReadings most posts are donation-based | No | Quality varies; strangers may message you privately asking for money |
| Live psychic chat sites (Keen, Kasamba and others) | Real psychics, one to one | A few free or discounted minutes for new customers | Yes, billing details before the session | Per-minute charges add up fast after the intro offer |
Two examples of the fine print: Kasamba's own trial page promises "3 free minutes with each new psychic", up to a $50 value, but asks you to "register and enter billing information" first. Keen has recently advertised a discounted first session, such as 5 minutes for $1, after which the advisor's normal rate applies. To see what a full session would cost you, use the psychic reading cost calculator.
Are psychic chat rooms really free?
Psychic chat rooms are really free only when nobody is paid per minute. That is why the totally free options are AI rooms and community rooms, while live psychic sites use free minutes, credits or a $1 first session as a trial before charging.
- Free minutes run out quickly: greeting the reader and explaining your situation already uses part of them.
- Free credits, like Oranum's new-member credits, buy more or fewer minutes depending on each reader's rate.
- Donation readings on Reddit are optional to pay, but agree on it in public before the reading so there are no surprises.
If what you want is a chat that never asks for money, the room at the top of this page is built for that. It is also available as a general free psychic chat, and in topic rooms for love, work and money and twin flames.
Safety check: is this psychic chat room safe?
A psychic chat room is safe to use if it shows none of the warning signs below. Tick anything that has happened to you in a room or reading:
These signs come from the advice consumer groups give about psychic and fortune-telling scams. AARP warns about readers who guarantee outcomes, who keep finding new problems to charge for, who threaten bad luck unless you pay or who ask for secrecy, and advises never sharing bank or card details. If you paid for a service that was not provided, you can report it to the Federal Trade Commission. Our guide are psychic readings real? explains what readings can and cannot do.
Free medium and clairvoyant chat rooms
For a loved one who has passed, the free medium chat works like this room but gently focuses on grief, memories and what you would like to say. It is an AI, so it never claims to contact the dead. Human mediums and clairvoyants are listed on the live sites in the table above, with the same intro-offer-then-per-minute pricing.

Frequently asked questions
Are there totally free psychic chat rooms?
Yes, but only of two kinds: AI chat rooms like the one on this page, and community rooms where readers practise or work for donations. Live psychic networks let you watch or try a few minutes free, but they ask for card or billing details before a private session.
Is there a free psychic chat room with no registration?
The chat on this page needs no registration, email or card: type a question and a tarot card is drawn for your chat. On Oranum you can also watch live video rooms and read the public chat without an account.
Are free psychic chat rooms safe?
They are safe if you never share payment details, passwords or your home address in a public room, and you leave anyone who promises guaranteed outcomes, says you are cursed or asks you to keep the reading secret. Those are the warning signs consumer groups such as AARP list for psychic scams.
Are the psychics in chat rooms real?
On live networks and in community rooms the readers are real people, although their skill varies a lot and no reading can prove psychic ability. In an AI chat room, like ours, you are talking to software, and it should say so clearly.
Can I find a free medium or clairvoyant chat room?
Yes. For a loved one who has passed, try our free medium chat, which works like this room but focuses on grief and memories. Paid networks also list mediums and clairvoyants, usually with a short introductory offer and then a per-minute rate.
What happened to the old psychic chat rooms?
The open, all-day group chat rooms of the early web have largely disappeared. Today a psychic chat room usually means a one-to-one chat with a reader or an AI, a live video room with a public chat, or a community forum where you post a question.
How this chat room works
When you send your first message, a tarot card is drawn at random by code from the full 78-card deck, upright or reversed, never chosen by the AI. Mystica then interprets that card for what you tell it. Conversations are deleted automatically after 48 hours, and we never ask for your name, email or payment details.
Readings are for reflection and entertainment. For health, legal, financial or mental-health decisions, please speak to a qualified professional.
