Tvastar, in hindu mythology carpenter, is a Hindu creator god, mentioned in theĀ Vedas, and referred to as the “divine builder” who fashions living creatures on earth.
The Hindus equated to the Roman godĀ Vulcan.
He is anĀ aditya, or sun god, and father of Saranyu. His attributes are theĀ homajakalika, an uncertain fire device, ladle, and two lotuses.Ā A.G.H.
