Tagirion (Hebrew ThGRIRVN, “Disputers”) in¬†Kabbalistic¬†tradition are the¬†Qlippoth¬†or demonic powers associated with¬†Tiphareth, the sixth¬†Sephirah¬†of the Tree of Life. In their traditional form they are depicted as giants wrestling with each other.

Togaririm, another spelling, “Those Who Bellow Grief and Tears,” is a place of ugliness and groaning. The cortex is Zomiel, “The revolt of God.” Tagirion is a striking opposite of the Sephirah Tiphareth, a place of beauty and rejoycing, for it holds Belphegor, lord of dead bodies.¬†A.G.H.
