Narkissos

 


Narkissos, minor Greek god, was the son of the river god Kephissos who wasted away after falling in love with his own reflection in the water. The gods took pity on him and charged him into a flower of the same name. He was known as Narcissus in the Roman pantheon. A.G.H.
