Ngai, the supreme god of the Masai tribe in the northern part of southeast Africa, is associated the sky and rain. Two of his hypostases (essential natures) are clouds, one being black and good and the other being red and wicked, which fight one another. There is also an earth-goddess, Neitergoob. A.G.H.
