Bhaga, the dispenser of fortune, is a minor Hindu sun god mentioned in Vedic and Puranic texts. He was the incarnation, in Vedic times, of the woman's good fortune in marriage. Also he is one of the six Aditya, sons of the goddess Aditi. His consort is Siddhi, and attributes are two lotuses, prayer wheel, and trident. A.G.H.
