Nod

Nod (wandering; exile) town built by Cain after he Killed Abel (Genesis 4:16) and wondered for years. The inhabitants of the cities of Bussorah and Bushire said the lad of Nod lay between their cities in the area northeast of the Persian Gulf. Some say Cain's son shared same name. Others say its location is dependent on the placement of Eden. Archeological exploration failed to discover it.
