Historia Monachorum in Aegyto

Historia Monachorum in Aegyto are writings depicting evil deeds of the demons who lived in Egypt, which were the accounts of eremite monks. These descriptions of the Devil and his demons as ugly and misshapen set the future pattern in literature and art depicting demonic activity. A.G.H.
