Coelen

Coelen is a demon in Mathers' translation of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage.He is summoned as part of the extensive Holy Guardian Angel rite. Mathers indicates the name originates from the Latin word meaning "heaven," possibly "from the heavens." Since he is described as serving under the four infernal princes of the cardinal directions it may be surmised that Coelen was among the original fallen angels (see Book of Enoch). A.G.H.
