Cobel is a demon in Mathers' translation of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. In Mathers' fifteenth-century source text the name appears as Cobel and Sobel which lead Abramelin scholar Georg Dehn to believe this version was inherently flawed because in other surviving versions the name is spelled Lobel who always servers the infernal ruler Magoth.
