Burasen

Burasen is one of several demons appearing in the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. He is in the service of the infernal king Amaimon. Through a strange and complex reading Mathews says the name originates from Hebrew roots and means "destroyers by stifling, smoky breath." In Pater Hammer's 1725 version of the Abramelin material this demon's name is Bumaham as it appears in the work in the Dresden library. .A.G.H.
