Manibozho is the hero in the Midewiwin, or the Medicine Dance. Manibozho becomes angry when seeing his brother killed by monsters. In song and dance instituted by supernatural beings he is consoled as the lost brother is inaugurated as chief of the dead. (Algonquin legend) A.G.H.
