Bruja, or brujo, is the name for male or female Witches of Mexico, Meso-American, and Hispanic cultures. Some consider the woman to be the most powerful. Bother can be a sorcerer and/or healer. Some brujas, plural, work in seclusion while others can be found in open-air markets selling their services. Some brujas cast both charms and curses. Others just one as they consider curses evil.
