Bhaga,¬†the dispenser of fortune, is a minor Hindu sun god mentioned in¬†Vedic¬†and¬†Puranic¬†texts. He was the incarnation, in Vedic times, of the woman’s good fortune in marriage. Also he is one of the six¬†Aditya, sons of the goddess¬†Aditi. His consort is¬†Siddhi, and attributes are two lotuses, prayer wheel, and trident.¬†A.G.H.
