Nephesh


Nephesh (Hebrew NPhSh, "soul") is in Kabbalistic tradition the lower part of the soul corresponding to the level of animal consciousness. In the Golden Dawn nephesh is termed Automatic Consciousness, and relates to the etheric or vital body. A.G.H.
