Marchosias is the Thirty-fifth Spirit, a Great and Mighty Marquis. He appears first in the form of a wolf or ox having gryphon's wings, a serpent's tail, and vomiting flames of fire from the mouth. But after a time, at the command of the Exorcist, he assumes the shape of a man. He is a strong fighter. He was of the Order of Dominations. He governs 30 Legions of Spirits. He told his Chief, who was Solomon, that after 1,200 years he had hopes of returning to the Seventh Throne.
