Chuschi

Chuschi is a demon in Mathers' translation of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. Mathers suggests the demonic name originates from a Hebrew word meaning "silence." As the Silent One he plays an important part in summoning the Holy Guardian Angel. Chuschi serves under the four demonic princes Oriens, Paimon, Ariton, and Amaimon who oversee the four cardinal directions. A.G.H.
