Bagoe
A pythoness (priestess of Delphi in ancient Greece)who is believed to have
been the Erithryean sibyl. She is thought to have been the first woman to
practice the diviner's art. She practiced in Tuscany where she judged all
events by the sound of thunder. A.G.H.
